What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel involves applying an acid-based solution to the skin to create a controlled exfoliation. This process helps remove dead skin cells and stimulates cellular renewal.

The most commonly used acids are:

  • AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids or fruit acids)

  • BHAs (such as salicylic acid)

  • PHAs, which are gentler and suitable for sensitive skin

At GERnétic International, we have developed the Glycolic Peel Duo, which consists of a Derma Peel (chemical peel) and a Neutra Peel (neutralizing lotion). This treatment protocol can only be performed in a professional beauty institute.
