The GERnétic International sun care range promotes an “intelligent” tan while respecting the unique characteristics of the skin for optimal prevention and protection.
Here, you will discover the best practices for safe sun exposure.
1. Do not stay in the sun for extended periods, even when using a sunscreen product.
2. Avoid sun exposure during peak sunlight hours.
3. Excessive sun exposure is a serious health risk.
4. Apply sunscreen before sun exposure and reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming, or towel drying.
5. Apply a sufficient amount of product to all exposed areas. Reducing the amount applied significantly decreases the level of protection.
It is also very important to use sun protection that is suited to your skin phototype and the level of sun exposure.

Dr. Laporte’s Advice:
In the event of severe sunburn, in addition to using After Sun Gel, it is recommended to apply Synchro for its soothing, repairing, and regenerating properties. For a longer-lasting and more radiant tan, perform regular exfoliation with Ger Peel. It is preferable not to exfoliate during periods of sun exposure, as exfoliation can weaken the skin’s natural protection by reducing the outermost layer of the skin. Instead, prioritize exfoliation before and after sun exposure.
